Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. has opened a new branch in Sanford, Fla., to serve the northern Orlando, Daytona Beach and surrounding area. The 27,000-square-foot facility provides rental equipment to support road and general construction as well as earthmoving, environmental and aerial-related projects.
The HERC Sanford location provides one of the area’s youngest fleets, HERC said, with inventory including earthmoving, aerial, material handling, trucks and tools. The branch offers training, equipment services, parts and 24-hour emergency services.
“Florida is an exciting market for us, especially given the steady comeback of its construction industry,” said Robert Cowing, division vice president sales, North America, HERC. “We opened our new Sanford location to support our expanding operations in Orlando, a large metro area where we have a significant presence. The new HERC Sanford facility offers customers a wide range of equipment for rent or purchase to serve their many building and road development requirements.”
HERC Sanford will host a Grand Opening ceremony for customers Jan. 22.
HERC, now based in Naples, Fla., is No. 3 on the RER 100.
