Zep Inc., a consumable chemical packaged goods company that manufactures a variety of maintenance and cleaning chemicals, has joined the SmartEquip Network to provide electronic parts and service support, and procurement for its products.
“[Zep’s] well-known line of industrial products affords our fleet customers an opportunity to drive procurement efficiencies for both equipment and supplies through the SmartEquip Network,” said Mike Kendall, SmartEquip director of OEM business development.
“Zep Inc. continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving process and transactional efficiencies for its customers,” said Steve Nichols, group president of Zep Inc. “By joining the SmartEquip Network, we are extending our electronic product support capabilities, and our parts-ordering efficiencies, directly into the operating platforms of our customers, delivering real savings and improving equipment uptime.”
Zep Inc. had fiscal year 2014 net sales of about $700 million.
