Jack Doheny Companies, one of the world’s largest environmental equipment dealer organizations has started a specialty rental division to focus on large, truck-mounted aerial lifts for use in the construction and utility industries. JDC has hired Brian Stanley, a 28-year veteran of the equipment rental industry, to run the division.
JDC has 17 locations in the United States and Canada, and plans further expansion. The company said the opportunity to rent and sell Bronto Skylifts is a synergistic opportunity.
JDC became an authorized Bronto dealer with the purchase of two Bronto Skylift model S-197 HDT aerials scheduled for delivery in late fourth quarter of 2014. The truck-mounted aerial work platforms feature a 197-foot platform height, 77 feet of horizontal outreach and a 1000-pound platform capacity.
Other Bronto Skylife aerials are available for sale or rent with working heights to more than 340 feet, horizontal reach to more than 102 feet and platform capabilities up to 1,500 pounds. Units are available in insulated and non-insulated models.
More than 6,000 Bronto aerial work platforms have been built and are operating around the world, Bronto said.
Jack Doheny Companies sells, rents and services a broad portfolio of vacuum trucks and infrastructure inspection equipment. The company is headquartered in Northville, Mich.
