H&E Equipment Services has opened a new store in Pharr, Texas, adding to 12 other full-service H&E operations in Texas, and now 70 branches nationwide. The new branch will serve the McAllen, Texas, area.

H&E Equipment Services has opened a new store in Pharr, Texas, adding to 12 other full-service H&E operations in Texas, and now 70 branches nationwide. The new branch will serve the McAllen, Texas, area.

The reconstructed 15,250-square-foot facility sits on five acres with a large yard area, offices, a parts warehouse and a six-bay repair shop that includes two, 10-ton overhead cranes. The facili

ty can repair a variety of machines from compact construction equipment to large boomlifts.

The branch handles aerial lifts, telehandlers, compact and large earthmoving machines and general construction items from Atlas Copco, Gehl, Genie, JLG, Multiquip, Skyjack, Skytrak, Takeuchi, Wacker Neuson, Yanmar and others. Cranes from Grove, Manitowoc and Manitex will be provided from H&E’s crane facility in Houston.

“We are extremely pleased to increase our presence in south Texas and expand into the Rio Grande Valley market,” said Roger Wood, H&E McAllen’s branch manager. “This area has a strong and diverse economy, including energy, healthcare and education, along with commercial and residential construction. We are anxious to provide our new and existing customers the resources and advantages of a full-service H&E operation.”

In addition to equipment rental, the facility provides new and used equipment sales, in-shop and mobile service, a comprehensive parts inventory, training and other value-added service.
