Used Construction Equipment Prices Strongest in Southeast in September, EquipmentWatch Reports

According to the latest data from Equipment Watch, used price decreases were common nationwide in September, with the exception of much of the Southeast. The Midwest showed substantial gains in volume, with Wisconsin leading the pack. The average age of resale equipment got younger in September, the research showed, with the average age of four-wheel-drive articulated wheel loaders dropping 1.1 years.
The number of lift trucks entering the resale market increased by 14.2 percent, the study showed, with the biggest decline in price in the northeastern United States.
