Bobcat Co. expanded its dealer network with the addition of Williams Equipment & Supply as an authorized rental, sales and service provider of Bobcat equipment. Williams is located in Byhalia, Miss., and will distribute Bobcat equipment throughout southeastern and northwestern Mississippi.
The Byhalia facility is the 12th location for Williams Equipment, which also has branches in Arkansas, Louisiana and Tennessee and has an extensive rental offering.
Williams was founded by James Williams in 1961 and has specialized in opening facilities in smaller towns rather than large metropolitan areas.
“We learned that customers don’t want to drive long distances or through heavy traffic,” said Gordon McIntyre, president of Williams Equipment & Supply. “Being 15 minutes from the hot development in DeSoto, Marshall and Fayette counties will be a big plus to contractors, land owners and local municipalities.”
