IPAF Names Godding and McGregor to Manufacturers Technical Committee Posts
The IPAF Manufacturers’ Technical Committee elected Phil Godding, senior product safety and reliability engineer, JLG, as chairman and Ian McGregor, product safety manager, Skyjack, as vice-chairman, effective immediately. Skyjack president Brad Boehler, who served in the role of chairman, stepped down as chairman.
Chris Wraith, IPAF technical and safety executive, said Godding and McGregor will play vital roles in overseeing ongoing projects. Godding is based in the United Kingdom and has been responsible at JLG for safety-related matters in the Europe, Africa and Middle East region for the past six years.
“I look forward to representing this committee, further strengthening the relationship of manufacturers with other IPAF members and leading our industry in the development of a clear strategy long-term for continued improvement,” said Godding.
McGregor is based in Canada and has been product safety manager at Skyjack for the past two years. During his eight-and-a-half years with Skyjack, McGregor has held positions related to design, testing and validation, standards compliance and product safety.
