Skyworks LLC, Buffalo, N.Y.-based equipment rental company that specializes in aerial work platform and telehandler rentals, is the first company in the world to take delivery of JLG’s new 1850SJ boomlift, the world’s tallest self-propelled manlift, Skyworks said.
The JLG 1850SJ has a working height of 191 feet with a horizontal outreach of 80 feet, with 70 feet of reach at 120-foot platform height.
“We have always been committed to supplying the best quality, most innovative products to our partners in Buffalo and this 1850SJ shows that we are confident in the growth and resurgence in the Buffalo construction market,” said Jerry Reinhart, president of Skyworks Equipment Rental. “I elected to establish our corporate headquarters here 14 years ago because I believe in the western New York market, its people and the city of Buffalo in particular. We use ‘born in Buffalo’ in our marketing because we see this city as the epitome of the working class American city that everyone can identify with.”
Skyworks has nine locations. The company is No. 58 on the RER 100.
