Terex Cranes North America has named Steve Headden vice president of sales, reporting to Dan Slater, vice president and general manager of Terex Cranes North America. With the objective of becoming easier to do business with, Terex Cranes last year announced a transition towards a region-based organization, giving customers more opportunity to contact local staff to buy equipment and for support.

Besides significant experience in the construction industry, Headden worked with the Terex Aerial Work Platform segment since 1999 in diverse customer-centered roles such as director of business development, national account manager and regional sales manager.

“Steve’s vast experience and customer-centered philosophy will contribute tremendously towards adding value to our customer-focused organization,” said Slater.

“As Terex Cranes transitions from a factory-centered approach to a customer-centered approach, it gives us an opportunity to be closer to customers to develop deeper relationships, and with this, to contribute to their businesses’ success more than ever,” said Headden.

Headden will lead the North American sales team, inside sales team, distributor development and working closely with manufacturing locations and customer support teams.
