Terex introduced its new Tier 4 compact track loader, the PT-35, at the Rental Show in Orlando this week. The unit features a 3-cylinder, turbo-charged Perkins 403F-15T 36.2 hp diesel engine. The machine has a purpose-built chassis, designed for heavy-duty jobs in landscaping, rental and small construction projects.

The compact track loader has 83.3 foot-pounds of peak torque and a tipping load of 2,100 pounds with a 1,050-pound operating capacity at 50-percent tipping-load capacity, with a lift height of 101 inches. The PT-35 is equipped with pilot-operated joystick controls.

All Terex compact track loaders utilize a proprietary all-rubber track, providing more traction, higher flotation and improved operating comfort. Terex offers a special turf track for the PT-35, designed for landscapers and others working over fragile or improved surfaces. The unit is designed with front-mounted, quick-connect hydraulic fittings and an electronic connector for control of attachments such as augers, backhoes, brush cutters, levelers, pallet forks, box rakes, snow blades and blowers, tillers, trenchers and buckets.
