The board of directors of Manitou Group has appointed Michel Denis president and CEO. Denis formerly was CEO of the Fraikin Group, the European truck rental company. During Denis’ 10 years with Fraikin, the company developed and grew internationally.
Denis began his four-year term Jan. 13.
Interim CEO Dominique Bamas, who has worked in that position since March, has resigned as planned.
Manitou, headquartered in Ancenis, France, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of material-handling and construction equipment, and owns the popular U.S.-based Gehl and Mustang brands.
