National Trench Safety, a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, trench and traffic safety engineering, and OSHA-compliant training classes, hired Bronson Anderson to be the new branch manager for the company’s Sacramento, Calif., branch location.
Anderson has worked in the construction industry for the past 13 years, including time as branch sales manager for DP Nicoli (a California-based trench safety company), and most recently as an outside sales representative for Sunbelt Rental’s Pump and Power Division.
“Bronson has a strong understanding of the market, as well as a solid understanding of trench safety,” said Ron Chilton, NTS president. “That experience will be important as he takes over the leadership of our Sacramento operation. We launched the operation in January of 2012 with the acquisition of a regional traffic safety company’s operating assets. We feel that Bronson will allow us to significantly expand our trench safety market share and help establish NTS as the premier trench and traffic safety company in the Sacramento market place.”
NTS has 21 operating branch locations spread throughout Arizona, California, Florida Illinois, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah. In maintaining its objective of building a nationwide network of trench and traffic safety branches, NTS plans to open additional branch operations in 2014. For strategic reasons, Chilton declined to comment on the location of the additional new branches.
