Mobile Mini announced today that Erik Olsson, former president and CEO of RSC Equipment Rentals, has been named president and CEO. Olsson will also be joining the board of directors, restoring Mobile Mini’s board to eight members. Olsson was president, CEO and a director of RSC Holdings from 2006 until the company’s acquisition by United Rentals in April of last year.

Olsson, 50, began his career at Atlas Copco Group, where he held several senior financial management positions in Sweden, Brazil, and the United States, including chief financial officer for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. from 1998 to 2000. He holds a degree in business administration and economics from the University of Gothenburg, in Sweden.
