WESTPORT, Conn. — Terex Cranes recently named veteran crane industry and crane rental executive Frank Bardonaro to the new position of vice president and managing director global sales. Bardonaro will assume full commercial responsibility for the company's complete range of mobile cranes, working in partnership with local distributors and Terex sales organizations worldwide. He will relocate to Europe in the near future where he will be based.
Bardonaro, who is probably best known to RER readers as former president and CEO of Amquip Crane Rental, one of the largest crane rental and lifting services companies. He spent 25 years in various aspects of the crane industry. Bardonaro joined Terex Cranes in 2010 as vice president and managing director of Terex Cranes North America, where he significantly contributed to positive growth in the North American market.
“Frank has already achieved much for our company during his first year with Terex,” said Kevin Bradley, president Terex Cranes. “His impressive understanding of the cranes industry makes him the right person for this new position that will be focused on providing global, world-class customer service.”
Terex Cranes also named Dan Slater, who has served as general manager of Terex Cranes North America operations, to the new role of general manager of Terex Mobile Cranes, North America.
