Fabick Cat broke ground this week for its new Customer Engagement Center at its Fenton, Mo., headquarters, fenton-highridgepatch.com reported. Fenton Cat employees were joined by local business, community and government leaders on a rainy day. Doug Fabick, president of Fabick Cat and great-grandson of company founder John Fabick, said the facility would be an instrumental resource for the company.
The center will have seven to 10 corporate offices, a conference room, balcony, new merchandise store, a condition-monitoring area, a machine oil testing lab and a new Fabick TV production room.
Fabick Cat, founded in Fenton in 1917, is also a major equipment rental player, ranked No. 33 on the new RER 100.
