Max Equipment acquires San Diego’s Superior Rentals

Max Equipment Rental, based in San Marcos, Calif., finalized its acquisition of Superior Rental in the Kearney Mesa area of San Diego. Co-owner Mason Bailey told RER the 1.5-acre branch is located on Highway 163, one of the most well-traveled freeways in San Diego.

Max Equipment Rentals was founded by partners Mason Bailey and Bob McDaris in 2000. McDaris has broad experience in the rental industry, having worked for Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. and Neff Rentals in management capacities.

Max has four California locations including San Marcos headquarters, Oceanside, San Diego and Perris, in the Riverside area. Max has three branches in Baja California, Mexico — Tijuana, Mexicali and the company’s newest branch, Cabo San Lucas.
