Lifting Gear Hire Donates Spreader Beam to Help Habitat for Humanity
Lifting Gear Hire Corp. recently donated a Modular 24 Spreader Beam with top rigging to assist the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity with the construction of new homes.
Habitat for Humanity homes come partially pre-constructed. LGH provided a Modular 24 Spreader Beam, at 20-foot length, to assist in the placement of the walls and roof.
NOAHH builds homes for families that are unable to qualify for traditional home loans but have stable jobs, good or no credit and are willing to contribute 350 hours to the building of Habitat homes.
“Giving back to the community is very rewarding,” said Eric Kottemann, LGH rental representative in New Orleans. “LGH appreciates the opportunity to work with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity on this wonderful project.”
Headquartered in Bridgeview, Ill., Lifting Gear Hire Corp. provides hoisting, pulling, jacking, rigging, material handling and safety equipment for rent. It is No. 65 on the RER 100.
