Associated Equipment Distributors has entered into an agreement with the Performance Inc. group of the Dealer Services Division of Automatic Data Processing, enabling the association to begin offering 20 Groups to its members throughout North America. The service will benefit dealerships by helping them to improve processes and sell more equipment and related services and parts.
Performance 20 Groups are focused groups made up of industry members who meet to compare best practices and share ideas in order to improve productivity, efficiency, customer service and profitability.
“AED is continually pursuing means to enhance our members’ business interests and ways to assist our dealers in improving their operations,” said Toby Mack, AED president and CEO. “In this economy, distributors must focus on the strategies that will help them through difficult times for the industry. Members who have already joined are reporting how effective these groups are in helping them find ways to improve their operations and their bottom lines.”
“Our success since 1974 in the many industries we serve is testimony to the power of 20 Groups in making our clients more effective, efficient and profitable,” said Steve Larrimore, ADP Performance vice president and general manager.”
