Spider, division of SafeWorks LLC, has been awarded the contract to provide a façade maintenance system for 61-story One Rincon Hill in San Francisco. Spider will design a system to allow access for maintenance and cleaning of the vertical façade along with the replacement of glass panels.
These tasks will be achieved using a low-profile building maintenance unit that telescopes up in a unique parallelogram method and provides access over a 12-foot-high parapet.
One Rincon Hill is a residential building in a historic area near the Bay Bridge.
