CHICAGO — NES Rentals announced last month that Chris Bowers will be joining the company as senior vice president, customer strategy, sales and marketing. Bowers will oversee the execution of sales, marketing and customer service strategies. Bowers was previously CEO of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau.
In addition to his most recent position with the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau, Bowers ran his own management consulting firm with an emphasis on marketing, sales development and strategic planning. Bowers, like NES president and CEO Andy Studdert, is a veteran of the airline industry, a former senior executive at United Airlines.
“Chris brings tremendous knowledge and insight to our organization as well as a long history of successful business leadership,” said Studdert.
“This is a very exciting opportunity to return to the private sector and team with Andy in his efforts to make NES Rentals a successful and profitable leader in its industry,” Bowers said. “In my new role, I will be focused on accelerating the momentum that has been established over the past year.”
Chicago-based NES Rentals is No. 5 on the RER 100.
