The new Speedrooter 91 drain cleaning machine from General Pipe Cleaners features a braced frame at key stress points, a drum-supported front and rear for longer bearing wear and Flexicore cable. Design enhancements make the Speedrooter user friendly — one person can load it onto a truck. The machine's redesigned frame slides smoothly from the loading wheel to the handle to the stair climbers and finally to the wheels. The new adjustable height, swept-back handle also provides maximum maneuvering leverage.
General Pipe Cleaners' power cable feed drives ¾-inch, 5/8-inch and ½-inch cables. Switching from ¾-inch or 5/8-inch cables to a small drum with 100 feet of ½-inch cable takes less than a minute. No screwdriver is required for cable adjustments. The large drum features a see-through inner cage to quickly determine how much cable remains. The Flexicore cable offers kinking resistance and strength with flexibility. It carries a one-year warranty against breakage.
The Speedrooter 91 is designed for the professional market. Marty Silverman, vice president of marketing for General Pipe Cleaners, says the automatic feed is easier to use and it has a reinforced frame so it can handle a lot of abuse. It also has a wheel brake to keep the machine locked. The Speedrooter 91 offers other enhancements on the Speedrooter 90 model.
“The handles are now an adjustable height so you can raise and lower them for the needs of the operator,” Silverman says. “It has stair climbers to help you get it up and down steps.”
