Kubota Tractor introduces a new class of tractor with the homeowner, small farmer and landscaper in mind. The MX5000 makes multi-tasking jobs easier with the new high horsepower full feature that comes in 2- and 4-wheel drives.

“We created the MX5000 to serve, primarily, large estate owners, sundown farmers with up to 50 acres and landscapers who need high horsepower and multi-tasking capability,” says Paul Williams, product manager. “This new tractor is the stepping stone between the largest of Kubota's compact tractor line and our larger M-Series. This tractor suits the weekender who wants to work on 20 to 50 acres and wants a tractor that is agile, responsive, easy to operate and reasonably priced.”

Powering the tractor is Kubota's 148.5-cubic-inch, 4-cylinder E-TVCS indirect injection diesel engine. It comes equipped with a partially synchronized main transmission, with 8 forward and 4 reverse speeds. Auxiliary shift has F/R mechanical shuttle shift in low and reverse ranges.

The tractor uses the large capacity LB702 front loader with 1,852 pounds of lift capacity for normal work or the heavy-duty LA852-1 with 2,469 pounds of lift capacity for heavier duty jobs. The front loader is easily attached and detached with two pins. For operation of the loader a single joystick lever performs all loader actions — boom raise/lower and bucket roll back/dump as well as combined movements.
