Grove's 3-D crane simulator at the Operating Engineers Training Institute of Ontario in Morrisburg, Ontario, is proving an effective way to train new operators. The device, which replicates the actual operation of a crane, has also been credited with reducing the province's crane and rigging fatalities almost 80 percent since its inception.
