Wacker Neuson continues to see strong and stable growth in the Americas Region in 2021 and all signs point to positive momentum moving into the fourth quarter of this year and on to 2022. With the ARA Show moved out of its normal cadence and into October, the construction equipment manufacturer has had a busy fall, including a successful ISO 2001:2015 audit and a hybrid dealer event.
With a strong presence in North America for nearly 65 years, Wacker Neuson has evolved from its roots in light equipment, which has been a mainstay at the ARA Show for more than half a century. Today, the company also offers compact equipment, taking the full product line from rammers, plate compactors, rollers, pumps, heaters, generators and concrete consolidation equipment to skid steers, excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers and dumpers. Wacker Neuson is showcasing its diverse product offering in Las Vegas at The ARA Show, October 18-20 in Booth 933. The company also showcased its new utility track loader, the SM100.
“Our recent Dealer Fest enabled the Wacker Neuson team to engage with our dealers both online and in-person on a large scale for the first time since late 2019,” said Wacker Neuson America Corp. president and CEO, Gert Reichetseder. “We are happy to be back to interact face to face with our customers and eager to share our customer-driven strategy with them and continue to move forward.”
The company also showcased several new items at this year’s show including:
UTILITY TRACK LOADER SM100: Wacker Neuson is introducing its first utility track loader. The, stand-on SM100 is designed for landscaping projects, light site work, grading, auguring and general material handling. The standard 9-inch wide tracks provide low ground pressure, reducing turf disturbance and repair work and the overall machine width of 35.5 inches fits through doorways, gates and other tight spaces.
WHEEL DUMPER - DW30: The new 3-ton payload DW30 wheel dumper offers a compact design allowing it to navigate through narrow openings and pathways as well as across rough terrain while carrying a large volume load. The hydrostatic all-wheel drive is easy to operate without the need to shift gears. New comfort and safety features have been added to this new bulk material mover.
WHEEL LOADER - WL28: The new articulated WL28 is a versatile wheel loader that is compact in size, but big on features. Designed for construction, landscape and snow removal applications, the WL28 offers superb visibility and comfortable cab with a user-friendly control layout.
EXCAVATOR - ET42: The ET42, 4.2-ton excavator, offers large machine features in a smaller package, making it an excellent fit for the North American market. Voice-of-customer research resulted in a comfortable machine design that offers good visibility of the boom, attachment and working area.
MOBILE GENERATORS - G25/G35/G50: The new G25/G35/G50 mobile generators offer a compact design that includes an integrated trailer with folding tongue to allow more machines to fit on a flatbed.
LIGHT TOWER - LTV4L: The new LTV4L LED light tower is the newest, compact model powered by a Kohler engine. The LTV4L offers long lasting, durable LED lights that provide up to 50,000 hours of lighting coverage. The adjustable vertical mast rotates 360 degrees for optimum light flexibility.
VIBRATORY PLATES - BPS/APS SERIES - The pioneer of compaction equipment is offering a new generation of single-direction vibratory plates. The gasoline-powered BPS and the battery-powered APS models set a new standard in maneuverability with an optimized base plate design that provides superior handling on soil and fresh asphalt for a smooth finish. Powered by Honda engines or Wacker Neuson’s orignial zero-emission battery system.
TRENCH ROLLER - RTSC3 - The popular RTLx-SC3, powered by Kohler, has undergone a variety of design enhancements to further support the maintenance-free lower end. The RT Trench Roller continues to offer the industry’s original articulated roller design with below-the-axle exciters that provide efficient compaction results. Plus, the proven line-of-sight infrared control system only moves the machine when the operator is facing it from a safe distance.
ZERO EMISSION PRODUCTS - Wacker Neuson's exclusive battery-powered rammers, plates and backpack concrete vibrator are real game changers. The zero emission products provide an alternative power source for indoor applications and job sites with noise and emission guidelines. Plus, the same battery system can be used to power all seven products across three product lines.
Wacker Neuson America Corp. also recently completed a successful ISO 9001:2015 audit. This is the latest of many ISO audits, with Wacker Neuson’s first certification in the United States taking place in 1994.
“We have come a long way from being the original ‘rammer company,’ expanding into compact equipment and building a robust zero emission product lineup,” said Reichetseder.
