MEC Aerial Work Platforms has expanded the MEC Micro series to 14 models—the largest line of Micro Scissor lifts available in the North American market, the company said. At The ARA Show, MEC spotlighted its latest innovations in scissor lifts:

Micro 2032 Slab Scissor Lift: Setting a new benchmark with an 800-pound lift capacity, the MEC Micro 2032 is designed for demanding jobsites. Its compact and agile design, combined with fixed guardrails, keeps its overall height under 79 inches, allowing the Micro 2032 to navigate tight spaces and single doorways effortlessly. Standard with dual material racks, one on each side of the platform for productivity. Equipped with MEC’s patented Leak Containment System (LCS) as a standard feature, this scissor lift ensures enhanced dependability across a variety of work environments with working heights of up to 26 feet.

Micro 26-XD Slab Scissor Lift: The tallest in its class, MEC’s Micro 26-XD redefines accessibility with the industry’s largest range of equipment with the Xtra-Deck—allowing 20 additional inches of platform height to facilitate safely reaching tight overhead areas. Designed for efficiency, it allows driving at full height for faster, more streamlined operation. Its ultra-compact 74-inch length — nearly two feet shorter than other 26-foot scissor lifts — sets a new benchmark for maneuverability in tight spaces, the company said . The Micro 26-XD features MEC’s patented Leak Containment System (LCS) as a standard feature, ensuring dependable performance on every job.

MEC 3232SE Slab Scissor Lift: Redefining productivity as the industry’s only 32-foot slim scissor lift with the ability to drive at full height, MEC’s 3232SE eliminates the need for outriggers. With a 38-foot working height on a 32-inch-wide chassis, it provides exceptional access in narrow-aisle applications. Its eco-friendly AC electric drive and standard AGM batteries reduce emissions and costs while ensuring longer duty cycles. MEC’s LCS also comes standard with the 3232SE, offering additional value.

Further expanding its line of boom lifts, MEC is offering more alternatives for rental customers to diversify their boom fleet:

DualReach 60-J Diesel Boom: Like the award-winning DualReach 85-J, this boom lift offers unparalleled versatility, allowing operators to seamlessly switch between telescopic and articulated modes. With its 2-in-1 design, the DualReach 60-J replaces the need to rent two boom lifts, improving utilization and cutting delivery costs. Featuring a 66-foot working height, 6-foot jib, and dual capacity — 600 pounds unrestricted and 900 restricted — it’s built for efficiency and productivity. The DualReach 65-J is also available, offering the same innovative features with 71 feet of working height.

66-RJ Diesel Telescopic Boom: Elevating job site capabilities, the MEC 66-RJ offers an impressive 72 foot working height and a 56-foot outreach with both conventional vertical Jib motion and first-in-class horizontal Jib motion for maximum dexterity. It features a maximum, restricted capacity of 900 pounds and an unrestricted capacity of 600 pounds, saving time and increasing efficiency on the jobsite. Three steering modes of 2WS/4WS/Crab steering ensure the machine can be precisely positioned just where it needs to be. The optional Xtra-Deck provides 20 inches of additional height for limited access overhead applications.

"We are proud to share our latest innovations at The ARA Show 2025," said Gary Crook, vice president of engineering. "Our featured equipment reflects MEC’s commitment to listening to our customers and delivering solutions that redefine jobsite productivity and sustainability."
