Skyjack plans to take the show indoors this year at Bauma Munich. The company is bringing an assortment of fleet favorites, product updates, and some Canadian flair with them to the world’s largest trade fair. Hailing from this year’s partner country Canada, Skyjack is looking forward to show Munich what it’s made of.
“As a Canadian manufacturer who has attended Bauma for a number of years, we’re excited to see a larger Canuck presence at this year’s show,” said Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing at Skyjack. “We’re doing things a bit differently this year with our indoor booth, but our team is looking forward to bringing lighter luggage, and we’re excited to showcase a new two-story booth design.”
Representatives from Skyjack attended a Bauma teaser event in January where they announced they’re bringing their largest scissor lift to date to the show in April – the SJ9253 RT. Redesigning their entire full-size rough terrain range, Skyjack is showcasing the expansive platform workspace, new control box, and redesigned emergency lowering functionality at its booth at Bauma.
“With the new Euro Stage V emissions coming down the pipeline, we treated this the same way we’ve always treated change – as an opportunity,” said Early. “We saw this as a chance to implement some of the larger changes we received from our customers and redesign these machines in a way that maintains our customers’ ROI and keeps these machines in high demand.”
Skyjack’s redesigned rough terrain range boast faster function speeds, increased capacities, and increased working heights. The new models also feature an enhanced control system – maintaining Skyjack’s proven color coded and numbered wiring system, while further improving the ease of troubleshooting and integration with the company’s Elevate telematics solution.
“And it wouldn’t be a Skyjack show without a bit of fun, so we’re bringing a taste of the great white north along with our very own brewmaster,” Early added. “We’ll have two Skyjack brews on stand throughout the show and will have our brewmaster on-site to talk our guests through why Canadian brew is best.”
