Snorkel Showcases Zero Emission Technology at California Rental Association Rental Rally 2022
Snorkel highlighted its zero emission high reach solutions at the 2022 edition of the CRA Rental Rally at South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas this week.
Representing a family of nine lithium-ion battery powered lifts, Snorkel displayed the fully electric SR5719E compact rough terrain telehandler on its 1,600-square-foot booth. Delivering full four-wheel-drive performance and up to six hours of continuous use per charge, the SR5719E provides a true zero emission alternative to traditional internal combustion models.
Powered by long-lasting, maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries, the Snorkel SR5719E also reduces dust generation on the jobsite and is significantly quieter than its diesel powered equivalent. Capable of lifting up to 5,700 pounds, the SR5719E reaches a maximum lifting height of up to 19 feet (5.79m), and with its compact dimensions and high-grip, non-marking tires can navigate confined spaces both inside and out.
The Snorkel range of lithium-ion battery powered lifts also includes five compact rough terrain scissor lifts, two Speed Level sigma lifts, and an articulated boom lift, the Snorkel A46JRTE. All models are designed for rough terrain applications with powerful 4-wheel drive but can also be utilized for interior work thanks to zero emissions and low noise.
Alongside the SR5719E, Snorkel showcased some of its battery-electric slab models, including the Snorkel TM16E telescopic mast lift and the S3219E and S3226E electric slab scissor lifts. The S3219E on display at the show was the 10,000th Snorkel S3219E electric slab scissor lift produced at its Elwood, Kan., manufacturing facility in December 2021.
Other popular models at the show were the Snorkel 460SJ diesel-powered mid-size telescopic boom lift, fitted with a Kubota 24.9-hp engine as well as a Snorkel UL40 push-around mast lift.
