MEC Aerial Work Platforms announced the addition and promotion of industry veterans to further strengthen its sales team. Joe Broughton and Kyle Waller have joined the MEC sales team bringing deep and broad experience, enthusiasm for the industry and dedication to customer partnership. A champion of these same values, Steve Gooding is promoted to director of national accounts to further leverage his contributions to MEC’s success. Bringing together the right team members at the right time aligns with MEC’s growth initiatives and the commitment to provide customers with not only a better solution but a better experience.

Joe Broughton has accepted the position of west region sales manager for MEC. Broughton comes to MEC with 27 years of MEWP industry experience, where he has held many positions and leadership roles with leading manufacturers. Leveraging his deep customer relationships and reputation for customer service, Broughton will be responsible for developing new avenues of business as well as adding personalized engagement with the company’s customer base in the western region of the U.S. and Canada.
Kyle Waller has accepted the position of business development manager. Waller comes to MEC with almost 10 years of sales and operations experience mostly in the MEWP industry. Kyle will also use his years of experience and connections with the dealer network and industrial customers to promote the MEC advantage and strengthen the company’s reach with direct parts.
Steve Gooding, who has more than 45 years of experience in the MEWP industry as both an industry expert with vast technical knowledge and decades-long relationships with a wide range of rental companies and industry personnel, has been promoted to the position of director of national accounts. Gooding joined MEC 10 years ago and has been a keystone to the growth and success of the company. Gooding has been promoted to the position of director of national accounts, where he will focus on the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large rental companies. In this role he will work closely with national account personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
