RSC Equipment Rental last week introduced RSC ePay, an online payment option for its construction and industrial equipment customers across the United States. The program was launched following a pilot campaign to gain customer feedback.

With this program, RSC becomes the largest equipment rental company in North America to offer online bill payment, the company says.

RSC ePay is part of RSC Online, the web portal available at www.rscrental.com that customers can use to reserve equipment, manage reports about rental transactions, and call equipment off rent. Customers can make payments with RSC ePay simply by registering with RSC Online.

“This is yet another step we’re taking to make the rental experience both easy and efficient for our customers,” said Tom Zorn, president and CEO of RSC Equipment Rental. “They can process payments and access payment history more easily with RSC ePay, and that greater efficiency can help them increase both their productivity and profitability. We listened to customer input to develop the most user-friendly solution.”

Each transaction made on RSC ePay will be accompanied by a confirmation number. Payments can be made using debit and credit cards, as well as demand deposit (DDA) checking and savings accounts. Customers can also use a live chat button on RSC Online to ask questions during a transaction.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based RSC Equipment Rental is No. 2 on the RER100.
