SPS International, a maker of handheld and backpack sprayers for gardening, commercial landscaping, pest control, golf course grounds management, construction and industrial markets, recently appointed Dave Dalton the company’s new national sales manager.
“Dave is well known to me and well known in the industry circles we compete in,” said Paul Scholl, vice president of sales and marketing at SPS. “I have watched Dave’s career develop dating back to when he worked behind the counter at a power equipment dealer in Youngstown, Ohio, in the mid 70’s. I could tell back then that Dave’s drive would take him places in this business and I am happy that his drive has landed him at SPS.”
Dalton has held senior sales positions with Tanaka, ECHO Inc., and RedMax, a subsidiary of the Husqvarna Group.
As national sales manager at SPS International, Dalton will work directly with existing dealers and distributors on their marketing strategies for the SPS product line. He will also take the lead in recruiting new distributors in the few underserviced regions of the country.
