Denyo Manufacturing Expands Kentucky Generator Facility

Denyo Manufacturing held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch a $7 million expansion at its Danville, Ky., plant, the Central Kentucky News reports. Denyo president Shigeru Koga said the Japanese company, which employs 135 people, made the decision last year to expand the facility. Denyo is a major manufacturer of engine-driven generators, welders and air compressors.

The $7 million expansion is the third and most significant investment in the Danville facility since it opened in 1995. The expansion houses new electrostatic coating and powder-painting systems for metal parts of generators.
