JLG to Present Variety of Products at Rental Show

JLG Industries will demonstrate its 340AJ articulating boomlift; its X550AJ compact crawler boom; its recently redesigned G5-18A super compact telehandler; 1932RS and 3248RS scissorlifts and its LiftPod portable aerial work platform at the Rental Show in Las Vegas next week, the company said. It will also inform attendees about its JLG Ground Support services including aftermarket replacement parts, accessories, and attachments for JLG lift equipment; used equipment; reconditioning programs, and regional service centers that provide repair service.

The 340AJ articulating boomlift is designed for general contractors, painters and maintenance professionals. The unit has durable steel hoods, a Tier 4 diesel engine, a 500-pound capacity, lift height up to 34 feet and 20 feet of up-and-over reach.

The X550AJ compact crawler boom includes a tracked wheel carriage that climbs steps and a narrow chassis for access through gates, yards, standard doorways and public buildings. Because of its low vehicle weight, the unit can be set up on sensitive flooring and landscaping. The X550AJ has a 55-foot working height and 21-foot horizontal reach.

The G5-18A super-compact telehandler features a 126-inch turning radius and a stowed height of less than 76 inches, facilitating work in confined and congested spaces as well as parking garages or any application with overhead height restrictions. Newly redesigned, the machine features a maximum lift height of 18 feet; an extended outreach of 10 feet, 10 inches; and a 5,500-pound maximum lifting capacity.

The 1932RS and 3248RS scissorlifts have platform heights of 19 and 32 feet and capacities of 500 and 705 pounds respectively. The units are designed for hospitals, schools, libraries, office buildings and commercial construction applications.

Tradeshow attendees who visit JLG in Booth 2616 will have the opportunity to win a tablet.

JLG is based in McConnellsburg, Pa.
