Deutz Delivers 500,000th engine to Atlas Copco

Cologne, Germany-based engine manufacturer Deutz Ag last week celebrated delivery of its 500,000thengine to long-standing partner Atlas Copco. The company highlighted the milestone at the bauma trade show in Munich, Germany.

Atlas Copco uses Deutz engines in a variety of its equipment including compressors, generators, and construction and mining equipment. In addition to the main Atlas Copco brand, Deutz also supplies other well-known companies in the group such as Dynapac and Chicago Pneumatic in China.

The various applications make use of virtually the entire Deutz product range, representing almost all power outputs of Deutz engines, including both water- and air-cooled models.

The partnership between Deutz and Atlas Copco began in 1956.
