Greenwich, Conn.-based United Rentals named Timothy Tully to the company's board of directors. He is the managing member of Tully Capital Partners and Heron Investments. The company also named Fred Bratman vice president of corporate communications. He had been with Deutsche Bank.

Construction Machinery in Anchorage, Alaska named Jack Moser president and CEO. He had been senior vice president/chief financial officer.

Quake Global in San Diego named Chris Johnson vice president of sales. He has 20 years experience in the heavy equipment, automotive and trucking industries. The company also named Jennifer Foreman business development director. She had been marketing manager.

Daniel Perez was named inside sales coordinator at Holt Rental Services in Corpus Christi, Texas. He had been with Wal-Mart. The company also named Gabriel Nelson, Sr. field service technician at its Weslaco, Texas location. He has six years experience in the rental equipment industry.
