NationsRent, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., named Ezra Shashoua executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Gene Ostrow. Shashoua had been CFO at 7-Eleven. Ostrow, co-founder of NationsRent, will stay with the company during the transition.

Rex Perisho was named vice president and general manager of Bomag Light Equipment Division in Conklin, N.Y. He will oversee the company's light construction equipment manufacturing and distribution operations. Perisho had been president of AmeriQuip.

Byron Jones was named northern regional sales manager at Time Condor, based in Waco, Texas. He had been with Lift-A-Loft.

Allmand Bros., based in Holdrege, Neb., named Frank Vivian product specialist for the EZ Breaker line. He had been a regional sales manager at Terex Light Construction.

L P International in Brantford, Ontario, named David Page marketing manager. He has more than 30 years' experience in marketing with Kodak and several retail businesses.

Mike Smollock was named vice president of sales and marketing at MacKissic in Parker Ford, Pa. He has been with the company since 1998, most recently as marketing director.

Carl Blomberg was named western regional sales manager at Rosco Manufacturing in Madison, S.D. He has more than 25 years' experience in the highway construction equipment and petroleum industries, most recently with CMI.

Multiquip, Carson, Calif., named German Alzate its manager for Latin America. He is based in Medellin, Colombia. Alzate had been international sales director with Terex/Amida Industries.

Hyundai Construction Equipment named J.J. Kim president of its North American operations, based in Elk Grove Village, Ill. He replaces C.M. Lee, who had held the position since 1994 and will continue to support North American operations from the company's South Korean headquarters. Kim had been vice president of sales and product support for the Construction Equipment Division of Hyundai Heavy Industries.
