LIVERMORE, Calif. — Norcal Rental last month acquired Michael's Rentals, a two-location general rental company with stores in South San Francisco and Burlingame, Calif.
The acquisition gives NorCal 11 locations in and around the San Francisco Bay area. NorCal's other nine stores are known as Cresco Equipment Rentals. The two Michael's stores will continue to use the original name during the transition period.
“We have been anxious to diversify our product offering and customer base,” said Chris Smith, NorCal president. “We can now redirect some of our focus on higher return, smaller rental items with daily and weekly rental cycles.”
Hageman, Stansberry & Associates, with offices in Cameron, Calif., a suburb of Sacramento, and Arlington, Texas, represented Michael's Rentals during the transaction.
