EVANSTON, Ill. — Kevin Rodgers, founder of National Equipment Services, left the company last month to pursue other interests, Rodgers told RER.

Rodgers founded NES in 1997, with the backing of investors Golder, Thoma, Cressey and Rauner. Rodgers guided the company as CEO until last year when he hired Joseph Guillion as CEO, at which time Rodgers stepped down as CEO and continued to serve as vice chairman.

Evanston, Ill.-based NES is No. 4 on the RER 100.
