Genie's GS-5390 RT self-propelled scissor lift is designed for unimproved jobsites with maximum control, power and up to 40 percent gradeability. Reaching a working height of 59 feet and a lift capacity of 1,500 pounds, these rough terrain scissors are designed to handle rigorous tasks with efficiency.

“The lift provides more options for contractors to choose from,” says Scott Owyen, product manager. “With the press of two buttons and one toggle switch, all four outriggers can be simultaneously deployed, and the machine will level itself up to 12 degrees side to side and 7 degrees front to back automatically.”

The lift comes standard with positive traction-controlled four-wheel drive. If one tire loses traction at any speed, the others will not lose power. The operator can easily maintain speed control with three throttle modes. Automatic leveling hydraulic outriggers are also standard with approximately 30 seconds set up.

The load sensing system adjusts automatically from the joystick for smooth proportioning. The controlled braking system, also operated by the joystick, prevents freewheeling down inclines and assures the operator of a smooth stop, and with brakes that can hold on any grade the machine is capable of climbing. Troubleshooting diagnostics greatly reduce delays.

It has a large platform with durable diamond-plate aluminum flooring. The standard 5-foot front extension deck and optional 4-foot rear deck extension make reaching over obstacles easy. In addition, the rear platform railing can be removed for easier loading and unloading materials.
