ALLMAND BROS.

The Allmand EZ 650 and EZ 1100 concrete breakers are designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, featuring minimal noise and dust. The EZ 650 is powered by an 11-hp Honda gasoline engine and offers a 640-pound breaking weight. The larger, more powerful EZ 1100 features a 13-hp Honda gasoline engine and a 1,080-pound breaking weight. The EZ 650 and EZ 1100 are rated to break up to 8- and 12-inch concrete, respectively. For jobs requiring less force, the adjustable stroke setting allows operators to significantly increase speed.

TORO

Toro's hydraulic breaker attachment, for use with Toro Dingo compact utility loaders, breaks concrete, asphalt, rock or brick. It uses 175 foot pounds of force and delivers 1,200 blows per minute to break materials to a depth of 11 inches. Designed for breaking up footings, sidewalks, foundations, and other solid structures, the breaker features a multi-position mounting head, allowing users to easily break materials in both horizontal and vertical positions. The hydraulic breaker uses Toro Dingo's hydraulic system, which produces up to 12 gpm of flow at 3,000 psi of hydraulic power.

TRAMAC

Tramac's line of hydraulic breakers is now offered with the option of being silenced. Designed to keep the noise level down, an enclosed housing and soundproofing material absorbs the noise. The sound-proofing version is an excellent option when work is being done at sensitive and noise restricted sites. The Metro-Silenced and Super Metro-Silenced breakers offer the same standard features as the company's other breakers. A tall, narrow piston transmits powerful and sustained shock waves into material for greater productivity.

KENT DEMOLITION TOOLS

Kent Demolition Tools KF 6 and 9 hydraulic breakers offer versatility and power. These hammers are available with Kent's Switch Hitch side plate mounting system for rubber-tired backhoes. An indexing disc inserted in the side plate can be easily changed to accommodate quick couplers for many popular backhoes, including Case, John Deere and Caterpillar. The KF 6 and 9 also come in the popular Qt version to accommodate work environments that demand a reduced noise level. These mid-size hammers are engineered with a higher back head pressure and larger pistons for an increase in impact energy of 20 to 30 percent.

WACKER

Wacker introduced a new, lightweight, harder hitting electric breaker. The EH 27 weighs only 57 pounds and produces 28 foot pounds per blow at a rate of 1,050 blows per minute. It has a patented design that significantly reduces the amount of vibration that reaches the operator. This patented handle and protective hood assembly isolates vibration through four torsional shock mounts, ensuring shock absorption in all machine positions. The EH 27 has a recoil dampening air-cushioned percussion system, which results in low vibration operation with high breaking performance through direct impact on the tool. It is powered by a 115-volt, 15-amp universal electric motor that provides higher impact performance. The quick-change tool holder accepts the standard industry tool size of 1-1/8 inch hex by 6-inch shank.

KUBOTA TRACTOR

Kubota Tractor offers five hydraulic breaker models. The optimized sideplate design eliminates cross bolts that are prone to fatigue, protecting the power unit by carrying loads through the front end. A protected front end eliminates damage to the most costly component of the hammer assembly. A pressure-adjusting valve works with the high-volume distributor valve to ensure 100 percent utilization of available power so the hammer can deliver blows at full power while operating at maximum speed.

BOSCH

The new Bosch 11304 Brute Breaker Hammer uses a high performance 15-amp motor that delivers 43 foot pounds of impact force and 1,400 blows per minute. The Brute Breaker features a ribbed barrel for added strength and durability. Large 8-inch diameter, semi-pneumatic, ball bearing-mounted wheels provide for easy transport of the tool on nearly any surface. The Brute is equipped with a two-way tool retainer that accepts both standard 1-inch standard hex and 1-inch air tool steel bits. It operates on a 115/120-volt AC/DC electrical outlet or a 2,500-watt portable alternator. It also features a service reminder brush replacement system that shuts the unit off when replacement, lubrication and preventative maintenance are needed.

STANLEY HYDRAULIC TOOLS

Stanley's BR line includes breakers in the 40-, 45-, 65-, 70- and 90-pound classes. These breakers include lightweight, general purpose, medium duty, and heavy-duty models. An independent, self-contained hydraulic power unit arms these heavy-duty tools with maximum power per impact. In addition, these tools can also be powered with virtually any standard hydraulic system including those carried on loaders, backhoes, dump trucks or other sources. All models feature a trouble-free diaphragm accumulator and can accept system back pressures of up to 250 psi. Underwater models are also available.

CATERPILLAR

A variety of Caterpillar hydraulic hammer work tools attach to Caterpillar skid-steer loaders to break concrete, hard-packed soil or rock into small, manageable pieces. Spades can be used to break frozen ground or to shape and cut asphalt. The compacting plate tool can be used to compact soils, and the chisels and moils can be used to break up concrete and brick walls. Two sizes of hydraulic hammers are offered — the H50 and H63. Sound suppressed models are also available.
