ALBANY, N.Y. — Albany Ladder, a subsidiary of National Equipment Services, held an open house at its new headquarters in the capital region of Albany.

The company showed off its new 80,000-square-foot facility, which includes 60,000 square feet of warehouse and shop space and 20,000 square feet of office space on a 14-acre parcel of land.

The open house attracted more than 200 customers and more than 100 Albany Ladder employees. Seminars offered training in forklift operation and safety, ladder safety, oil protection and compaction techniques. Through the seminars, games such as a putting contest, and a silent auction, Albany Ladder raised more than $10,000 for NES' national charity, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Albany's director of sales and marketing Mike Disser told RER.

Albany Ladder plans to sell its former headquarters. The company has 10 locations in New York, Vermont and Pennsylvania. NES is No. 6 on the RER 100 with more than 190 locations.
