NEW IBERIA, La. — Aggreko CEO Philip Harrower was recently killed in a car accident. Harrower, 45, was appointed CEO of Aggreko in January 2002. He joined the company in 1983 as Scottish rental manager and moved to the United States three years later to help develop Aggreko's U.S. business.

“Phil was a natural leader, mentor and influencer and the best CEO a company could ask for,” said Larry Brewer, Aggreko's director of national sales and marketing. “We're not only mourning the death of a colleague, we're mourning the death of a friend.”

Harrower is survived by his wife and two teenage sons.
