Toro introduces a new 36-inch rotary Power Broom to the rental market. Designed to deliver precise control to its operator, the durable rotary broom is suited for snow and debris removal as well as power raking.

“We designed the new rotary broom with the rental customer in mind,” says Anna Foster, marketing manager for Toro rental equipment. “It features the same familiar controls found on most snow throwers to make even the most novice operator productive. Since the Power Broom can be used on hard surfaces for debris and snow removal and in turf-related applications, rental stores will get the maximum return-on-investment from this machine all year long from home owners and professionals.”

The Toro Power Broom is equipped with a Kohler 208CC Command Pro Multi Season engine that delivers 200 rpm to the broom head. The variable speed, shift-on-the-fly transmission has six forward and two reverse positions, making it easy to set the appropriate speed for the job.

The broom also features patented power steering that reduces operator fatigue. The wheels can be disengaged independently or simultaneously with trigger controls to make turning, reversing and steering easy. Like many Toro snow throwers, it has independent control levers for drive and boom engagement and a thumb-operated broom angle adjustment that can be positioned up to 20 degrees left or right of center.

The unit comes configured with snow and concrete bristles but can be easily be configured for turf bristles. In addition, there are a number of accessories available for the Power Broom including a tire chain kit, snow cab, turf caster kit, dirt deflectors, concrete/snow bristle discs, turf bristles discs, light kit and a debris box.
