Riwal, the Netherlands-based rental company believed to be the world’s largest privately owned aerial rental specialist, has recently expanded its fleet of aerial work platforms by placing orders for more than 900 machines. Riwal’s investment is with JLG and other brands, adding to its fleet of more than 13,000 units.

“As a leading AWP rental specialist, we strive to provide our customers with the most advanced solutions available,” said Riwal CEO Norty Turner. “With this investment in the Riwal rental fleet, we continue to offer a newer, more diverse and versatile equipment range. The investment supports our drive to exceed the expectations of our customers.”

“It is encouraging to see a progressive rental company like Riwal investing in fleet,” said Wayne Lawson, JLG vice president and managing director, Europe, Africa and Middle East. “Particularly as a substantial percentage of the product mix includes new models which JLG has launched in the last 24 months.”

Based in Dordrecht, Netherlands, Riwal has operations in 16 countries in Europe, the Middle East and South America.
