Lavendon Hires Carillion Executive as Chief Executive

Leading U.K. aerial rental company Lavendon this week announced the hiring of Don Kenny as its new chief executive. Kenny comes to Lavendon from Carillion Business Services, the facilities management division of Carillion, a company that has been a regular customer of rental companies in the U.K.

“Kenny brings with him a wealth of experience of improving operating performance and growing businesses successfully both in the U.K. and internationally, together with a deep understanding of our industrial end markets,” said John Standen, chairman of Lavendon. “He is the ideal candidate to lead the group through the next phase of its development and I am confident that he will deliver significant shareholder value.”

Kenny will begin his work with Lavendon Oct. 1. Lavendon, based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, U.K., is a major aerial rental player in the U.K., Europe and the Middle East.
