India Approves Investment Proposals for Construction Equipment Manufacturing

John Deere Construction and Forestry last week got approval for setting up a joint venture to manufacture construction equipment in India with an investment of 840 million rupees (about U.S. $16.4 million).

John Deere Construction and Forestry last week got approval for setting up a joint venture to manufacture construction equipment in India with an investment of 840 million rupees (about U.S. $16.4 million).

India last week approved 26 foreign investment proposals that amount to 10.4 billion rupees (U.S. $203.2 million). Included in the 26 approved proposals are that of John Deere and BNP Paribas Securities, based in France, which was approved to provide financial services.
