Kubota Group and its affiliated companies have committed an initial cash donation of $200,000 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. The company – which includes Kubota Tractor Corp., Kubota Credit Corp., Kubota Manufacturing of America, Kubota Engine America Corp., and Kubota Industrial Equipment – is also preparing an additional donation of equipment totaling $200,000 in value.

Additionally, Kubota’s U.S. subsidiaries will match each employee donation to the American Red Cross Hurricane 2005 fund.

Based in Torrance, Calif., Kubota Tractor Corp. is the United States marketer and distributor of Kubota-brand equipment including a line of tractors up to 103 PTO horsepower, performance matched implements, compact construction equipment, consumer lawn and garden equipment, commercial turf products and utility vehicles.
