Finning International reported a third-quarter profit of CD $44.8, up from $43.1 million a year ago, helped by revenue growth of 13 percent. Quarterly revenue grew from $1.09 billion in last year’s third quarter to $1.23 billion this year.

Canadian operations increased by $39.2 percent to $531.1 million, up from $381.5 million in the same period last year. Equipment rental revenue jumped from $45.3 million last year to $54.7 million this year, a 20.7 percent hike.

Based in Vancouver, B.C., with Canadian operations based in Edmonton, Alberta, Finning is No. 17 on the RER 100. In addition to being the Caterpillar dealer for British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon and the Northwest Territories, it operates Caterpillar dealerships in the United Kingdom, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Uruguay.
