Xylem Moves its Chesapeake, Va., Branch to Norfolk

July 26, 2013

Xylem Dewatering Solutions has moved its Chesapeake, Va., facility nine miles away to Norfolk to a 17,500-square-foot office and shop. The new complex has a larger 5.5-acre yard to facilitate storage of pumps, HDPE pipe and accessories.

Branch personnel will remain the same. The company said day-to-day interruptions were minimized during the company’s move.

Xylem, based in White Plains, N.Y., had annual revenue of $3.8 billion in 2012. It manufactures Godwin Dri-Prime and Flygt electric submersible pumps.
