Volvo Construction Equipment Rents last week announced the opening of a new Volvo Rents equipment rental franchise in Tampa, Fla., by CASCO Rentals LLC. It is the third Volvo Rents franchise opened by CASCO in Florida.

CASCO Rentals, owned by franchise principal, Enrique Irizarry Jr., opened its first Volvo Rents center in Port St. Lucie, Fla., in 2005, and its second center in early 2007 in Lehigh Acres near Ft. Myers. The new equipment rental center is part of the company’s plans to open a number of rental stores in its Volvo Rents Development Area for Florida’s east and west coasts and Puerto Rico.

The new Volvo Rents center, an independently owned and operated franchise, will carry a comprehensive line of essential equipment for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets, as well as an extensive line of Volvo compact excavators and wheel loaders and backhoe and skid-steer loaders.

Headquartered in Asheville, N.C., Volvo Rents has 76 equipment rental centers open in North America, 66 centers in Europe and one in its international region (Mexico). It is No. 16 on the RER 100.
