Local owners Doug and Deanna Bauman, and Lance and Twyla Gardiner of Bonus Rentals, opened their fifth construction equipment rental store in Red Deer. Other locations are in Edmonton, Edson, Ft. Saskatchewan and Rocky Mountain House.

“We’re excited about the opportunity in Red Deer,” said Lance Gardiner. “Alberta’s strong economy has fueled the demand for more rental equipment.” Gardiner added that a big reason why they decided to expand to the Red Deer area was that many of the contractors they do business with invited them to the area.

Volvo Rents centers are independently owned and operated franchises that provide equipment rental, construction materials and supplies. They offer a comprehensive line of essential equipment for the construction, commercial and industrial markets, as well as an extensive line of Volvo compact excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe and skid-steer loaders.

Volvo Rents has 83 equipment rental centers open in North America, 79 centers in Europe and one in Mexico.

Volvo Rents is No. 17 on the RER 100.
